OUR CAGE-FREE EGGS ARE BACK!
The hens are once again laying after making their winter coats.
Supplies are still limited. Hens naturally lay less eggs when the days are short, and the temperatures are low.
Eggs will be first come, first served, at our shed store on the homestead only. We will not be bringing eggs to farm markets until further notice. When the days get longer, and temperatures warmer, the hens will start laying more. Once that happens in spring we will once again bring eggs to the farm markets.

Our Story
Jason and Kelly are a husband and wife team that started building Hickory Homestead & Apiary when they moved to their country setting in 2017. Their goal was always to create a sustainable life from the homestead. Growing as much as they possibly could to provided for their family. Over the years, that goal grew into a budding business, sharing the products of their hard work with you all. Cage free eggs come from the happy hens in the hickory henhouse. The hickory hives provide local raw honey and hive products made with the wax and propolis the bees provide. Swarm captures, apitherapy, and bee packages are other services we can provide. Jason is a very knowledgable beekeeper and Vice President of the Berks/Schuylkill bee keepers club. We are state certified and inspected.
